He worked as a V.P. of Production/Design Engineer of a manufacturer in Southern California for 35 years. While he took pride in continually improving their products and setting the standard in the industry, he was frustrated that they would have to continually raise prices, while their profit margin went lower and lower, because of cost beyond their control. Insurance, workers comp, unemployment benefits, rent, and taxes. Many of these costs their foreign competition didn't have. He saw a need in this horrible economy for a way that the consumer could get the best value in a high quality custom product without paying for these redundant costs, which adds no value to the product. His expertise is designing composite fencing that looks better, requires the least amount of labor to build and install, and requires the least amount of maintenance. He does this by being willing to spend more on the materials, yet have dramatic savings on the labor to produce, ship, install, and maintain the product because of the design. This more than offsets the increase in the material cost.
Because we use materials such as Trex fences and stainless steel panels, you’re paying for better materials and less for the labor to build, install and ship the product.
